Using the PBC-DIDM Implementation Profile
What is the PBC-DIDM Implementation Profile?
The Profile is a tool used by teams and individuals to set goals for PBC-DIDM implementation and to measure progress. The Profile indicators are divided into four tiers: Foundational, Initial, Mid, and Advanced. Each tier includes indicators that describe tools and implementations supports for using Practice-Based Coaching and PBC-DIDM as intended.
Why is the PBC-DIDM Implementation Profile important?
When implementing a new initiative, like PBC-DIDM, guidance about when and how to install key parts of the model are helpful for setting goals and measuring progress towards those goals. The Profile indicators break down the parts of the PBC-DIDM model into actionable steps that can move teams toward implementation and sustained use of PBC-DIDM.
During their first two years, teams complete the Profile multiple times (e.g., 3-4) to guide their installation and initial implementation of PBC-DIDM. As a team gains fluency with PBC-DIDM implementation, periodic (e.g., annual) use of the Profile can help teams to sustain PBC-DIDM implementation fidelity or use of the model as intended.
How could teams or individuals use this information?
This module will help teams and individuals to learn more about the parts of the Profile and how the PBC-DIDM Implementation Profile is connected to other parts of the PBC-DIDM model.
